Using Bijoy keyboard is not mandatory on Android phones: Mustafa Jabbar
The Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar has clarified that the Bijoy Keyboard software is not mandatory for Android mobile phone users. As a result, the people concerned think that this has ended the confusion created in the public mind.
On Wednesday (January 25) at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, responding to questions from reporters after the third session of the second day of the Deputy Commissioner's Conference, the founder of Bijoy Bangla Software and Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Mustafa Jabbar said, "It is a subjudice matter, it is not right for me to comment on it."
When asked about Mustafa Jabbar's comments as an individual on making the use of Vijay keyboard software mandatory on Android phones, he said, I will give an explanation, that BTRC has used a word, mandatory. This term is misleading. You can keep, uninstall, remove, and reinstall any software on any Android phone. Therefore, there is no need to apply mandatory words. It is not mandatory.
By questioning, he said, is it mandatory for anyone? It is said that the manufacturer or importer will provide software to facilitate Bengali writing. Whether or not the user uses the software is entirely at his discretion.
